Sometime its ok to lie to someone so you won't hurt their feelings. But sometimes they find out. So you should try as much as you can not to lie but if you have to, i guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

i think there is a couple times when lying can be a good thing and one of those times is where your lying to protect someone you care about or when someone tells you a secret and you lie and say you dont know to keep it a secret.

I think it is never okay to lie to anyone for any reason. My parents told me to always tell the truth and that is all i have ever been told so i'm not going to start lieing now.

lying isent allways all ways bad if ur lying about a good thing. for ex. you can lie to someone to hide some thing special that your going to give them. but never lie over somthing inportent.

I don't ever think lying is okay for anyone. You should never have a excuse to lie either. If you have something to say about someone, don't lie about it. It will most likely come back on you. Also lying is a sin.

I agree with michael that some times its okay to lie but lieing is a sin but that doesn't stop any one from doing it does it? I think that there is a right and a wrong time to lie.

normally lying is wrong but sometimes its okay like if you want to keep your friend from getting hurt you could lie to them so they dont get hurt then tell them the truth later

You should never lie all of the time to get yourself out of something, but if its soemthing that can get you or someone else in big trouble, then it's alright.

no i dont know when there is a good time to lie because lying is a bad habit and its not good because if you lie to your parents or friends constantly and you never tell the truth it would be hard for them to believe you when you are accuatly telling the truth because you lied to them so much that they can nevver trust you or anything.

mmatysak if youre really good friends with them you would know most of the things that hurt them but if you found out that someone they like doesnt like them back and they wanted you to ask you could just avoid the question or just keep saying you didnt ask then later tell them the truth
